Upload Meeting Photos
- Log in to the admin area and click on Meeting Information.
- Select the meeting date you wish to edit.
- Scroll down to the bottom of the meeting information screen.
There is a Browse button in an area at the bottom of the
screen. Click on browse and find an image to upload on your local
PC. Note that the image must be either .jpg or .gif and should be
saved for web viewing (72 pixels/inch) and no larger than 1200 pixels
wide. The images will be auto-resized on upload so it doesn't matter
if they are all different sizes.
- You can select up to 20 images to upload at a time, but to start with,
try just a single image. Browse to the image, then when
you've selected it, press "Upload all selected files".
- The image will upload and you should get a message at the
top of the screen indicating success. If there is an error, it
usually is either that the file is not .jpg or .gif, or it is too big.
- Once you've uploaded at least one file, you can see what's
there by clicking on "Edit Gallery Photos" just above the browse
button. This will show you thumbnails of all the images and will
allow you to delete anything you don't want.
- After you've uploaded, you can go to the main site to the
meetings screen. There is a photo icon under the meeting image that
you can click to see the gallery you have just created.
Managing Presentations/Media Files
MAIN SITE
You now can easily find presentations for each meeting in two locations:
1. For each meeting the client presentations that have been
uploaded will be listed on the page with its respective meeting.
2. There is also a page that lists all of the meeting presentations
that have been uploaded for a particular event. A link to this page can be
found on the top navigation and on the meetings page.
ADMINISTRATIVE AREA
Under the "Meetings" section, you will see that there is a new item called
"Meeting Presentations". In this area you can add meeting presentations
associated with a particular meeting.
How to Add a Presentation with a Particular Meeting:
- Login to the administrative area.
- In the "Meetings" section, click on the "Meeting Presentations" link.
- You will see a listing of all the meetings that have been added into the
system. Click the "Edit" button next to the meeting where you want to add a presentation with it.
- Click the "Browse" button to select the presentation file from your hard drive.
- Add a "Header". This is the basic descriptor for the file. (i.e. Joe Smith's Human Resource Project Management Presentation)
- Click "Upload" and then you are done. (Later, you can remove the file if desired.)
