StarChapter is a self-managed software, so you can update whenever you would like without needing permission or assistance.

Security is of utmost importance to StarChapter. You can see a comprehensive security overview here. 

There are no additional fees assessed on your organization’s activities. There are transaction fees associated with credit card payments, if you chose to add a StarPay account to your Starchapter system.  

It varies based on responsiveness from the point of contact at the organization, but an average project will go live in 6 to 10 weeks, depending on the plan purchased. 

No, we’ve negotiated a standardized fee based on the volume of transitions from our customers. 

Much of StarChapter’s value is in the ability to have the system handle basic updates and recurring tasks automatically. This includes website updates, so we don’t recommend using a third-party website if you would like to set up a more efficient system. We can build the website in our system to match it as closely as we can, but you’ll find that our additional features that are integrated will offer you a lot more. 

No, you have creative freedom. You can use the templates already provided and edit them, or you can build your own with our email builder. 

Yes, you can host all your documents in the system. You have up to 10GB of storage. 

StarChapter has a lot of great features to help with board transitions, including a dashboard to walk you through our recommended updates at the time of transition. Training is also available for all board members.
